Madalyn Elmquist - Attorney

Madalyn (“Maddy”) Elmquist recognizes that individuals seeking the services of an attorney are often in the most difficult season of their lives. Madalyn’s goal is to ensure her clients feel heard, yet efficiently advocate for their stated interests, all in an empathetic effort to make those difficult seasons bearable.

Madalyn is the newest member of the Miller & Stevens team and is equipped with an array of legal experiences in public, private, and judicial sectors. In 2019, Madalyn graduated summa cum laude from Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN, where she obtained bachelor’s degrees in legal studies and psychology. In college, Madalyn worked for Birkholz & Associates, LLC, a criminal defense and family law firm, that solidified her desire to practice in the field. Thereafter, Madalyn attended and graduated cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2022.

During law school, Madalyn continued to advance her skills in the field while on Mitchell Hamline Law Review and attaining employment with Murphy & Roverud, P.L.LP., where she focused on family law and criminal defense, and dabbled in city prosecution for the municipalities of Houston County, MN. Madalyn also clerked for the Dakota County Attorney’s Office where she assisted in prosecuting felony, gross misdemeanor, and misdemeanor matters. Leading up to and following graduation, Madalyn attained a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Bryce A.D. Ehrman at the First Judicial District. There, she had advanced opportunities to write orders and assist in facilitating an array of hearings and trials for criminal, family, and civil matters.

Madalyn is accepting new clients and welcomes the opportunity to assist in whatever way she can.
